Applications of Seismic Bracing

Seismic bracing is widely used in various newly built, expanded, or renovated civil buildings (such as hospitals, schools, shopping malls, and residences), industrial buildings, and critical infrastructure. Its installation targets cover pipelines, air ducts, cable trays, and large equipment in systems such as water supply and drainage, fire protection, HVAC, gas, electricity, and communications. Relevant national standards (such as the "Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering" GB 50981) clearly stipulate the seismic fortification requirements for different intensity zones and different systems.
