Before ordering solar panel bracket kits, buyers should check the roof type, module size, wind condition, snow load and fixing method. A light roof may need aluminum alloy rails, while a ground project may use galvanized steel supports. Common bracket parts include mid clamps, end clamps, roof hooks, L feet, rail splices, grounding clips and stainless steel 304 bolts. If the project has a fixed tilt frame, the angle is usually discussed between 10 degrees and 60 degrees, based on the drawing.
It is also useful to ask the factory for a part list before shipment. Carton marks, rail lengths, bolt quantities and clamp types should be easy for the site team to read. A careful list will not make the bracket more complicated; it simply helps the installer start work with fewer questions.
